NOTICE TO RACE (NOR)
The Deep South 2015 is an open international water sports competition to be held on the 25th and 26th of July 2015 on Rameshwaram Island, Tamil Nadu. There will be competitions in three sporting disciplines Kitesurfing Race, Stand Up Paddle Race & Kayak Race.
Kitesurfing Race
The race will be organised under the rules of the Kiteboarding Federation of India in a modified Slalom Race Format (Twin Tips). The categories will be open for all nationalities, age groups and genders. All class races will be run together but individual category prizes & certificates will be awarded for Open Category, Nationals Male & Nationals Female. The ranking system will be awarded in the following manner:
- Kathadi King Open Category
- 1st Place
- 2nd Place
- Kitesurfing Nationals Indian National Category (all age groups)
- Male Open
- 1st Place
- 2nd Place
- Female Open
- 1st Place
- 2nd Place
- Male Open
The modified Slalom Race Format:

Protest Format: Protest forms will be available with the protest officer.
KAYAKING RACE
The race is organised with Open Sit on top kayaks which will be provided along with a paddle. 20 Kayaks will race together in each heat with 20 selected for the finals. The course distance will be 7 kilometres in a triangular course.
All class races will be run together but individual category prizes & certificates will be awarded for Open Category, Nationals Male & Nationals Female. The ranking system will be awarded in the following manner:

STAND UP PADDLE BOARD RACE
